JUDY LONG, M.S. LPC

Healing is an inside job

Judy Long, M.S., LPC, is deeply committed to her clients, bringing a direct and straightforward approach to her work. She offers a no-nonsense style and a cut-to-the-chase attitude, honed through her training with renowned therapist Dr. Doug Weiss, Ph.D. Since 2018, Judy has successfully coached clients and facilitated their self-growth, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to making a tangible difference. She is also the founder of Legacy Pathways Counseling in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

 

Judy Long's expertise is underpinned by extensive and diverse training. She has undergone rigorous training in Partner Recovery, Partner Betrayal Trauma, Intimacy Anorexia, Gottman II, DBT, EMDR, APSATS Certified Clinical Partner Specialist, CSTAT-Candidate, and Emotional Transformation Therapy.  Judy also draws on insights from developmental psychology, interpersonal neurobiology, and spirituality to help her clients experience incredible healing. This breadth of training instills confidence in her clients, assuring them that they are in capable hands.

 

Judy is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Professional Counseling at Kairos University, a testament to her dedication to continuous learning and growth in her field.  She is a member of the American Association for Sex Addiction Therapy, the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists, and the American Association of Christian Counselors. 

Judy is not just a professional but a proud grandmother of two wonderful children. She lives in Colorado Springs with her husband, Richard, and her two German Shepherds, Lilly and Skye. This personal touch allows her clients to connect with her on a human level, fostering a sense of understanding and empathy.
