APSATS (Partners Only)CCPS Intensive

If you’ve experienced the deep pain of betrayal trauma, you know recovery isn’t about “getting over it” it’s about reclaiming safety, identity, and peace.

Our APSATS Partners-Only Intensive is designed specifically for betrayed partners, using the APSATS Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model (MPTM) and the CCPS (Certified Clinical Partner Specialist) framework. This intensive provides a safe, structured space for you to heal  emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.

What is an APSATS Intensive?

An APSATS intensive is a focused, short-term therapeutic experience designed for partners who have experienced betrayal trauma — usually due to infidelity, pornography use, or sexual addiction in a relationship.

It’s facilitated by a therapist or coach certified through APSATS (the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists) — the leading organization that trains professionals in the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model (MPTM).

.

Core components of APSATS approach

This intensive is built around the foundational principles of trauma-informed partner care.
You will experience:

  • Safety and Stabilization — Establish emotional and physical safety as you begin to rebuild trust in yourself and others.

  • Understanding Betrayal Trauma — Learn how trauma impacts your body, emotions, faith, and identity.

  • Empowerment and Voice — Reclaim your sense of self-worth and agency after betrayal.

  • Boundary Development — Learn to identify and maintain healthy, protective boundaries.

  • Spiritual and Emotional Renewal — Integrate faith, values, and personal meaning into your healing journey.

Healing with APSATS

Healing from betrayal trauma isn’t about getting over it — it’s about understanding what happened, honoring your pain, and reclaiming your safety and identity.

APSATS-trained professionals use the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model (MPTM) — a research-based approach that recognizes betrayal as real trauma, not codependency.

Through this model, healing unfolds on multiple levels:

  • Emotional: Learn how trauma affects your body and emotions, and gain tools to calm and ground yourself.

  • Relational: Build safety and truth first. Reconnect with yourself and safe others before rebuilding trust.

  • Spiritual: Gently explore spiritual pain and rediscover peace, faith, and hope.

  • Empowerment: Strengthen boundaries, restore your voice, and move from surviving to thriving.

Addressing What Matters Most

We understand the layers of betrayal trauma — confusion, anger, loss, grief, and fear.
Our APSATS-trained clinicians address these realities with compassion and clinical skill, helping you:

  • Navigate triggers, flashbacks, and relational anxiety

  • Process feelings of shame, blame, or self-doubt

  • Reconnect with your inner strength and spiritual grounding

  • Learn practical tools for coping, self-regulation, and emotional healing

Every step is guided by professionals who understand partner trauma — both intellectually and personally.
